Bookkeeper
Tracy joined the Cole Gavlas team in 2023. In her role as a bookkeeper, she works as part of the firm’s Accounting Services Department, providing bookkeeping services to clients in a variety of industries. Before joining the firm, she worked in education and manufacturing in bookkeeping and administrative roles.
Inquisitive and helpful, Tracy gravitated toward the accounting field because she discovered the positive impact she could have on the individuals and small business clients she worked with. Her goal as a bookkeeper is to acquire a well-rounded knowledge base for any task she embarks on. Tracy attributes her career success to her natural finesse with numbers.
Tracy currently lives in Kalamazoo, Michigan, with her spouse. She loves Kalamazoo because it’s the first place that felt like home after she left her hometown. Plus, it’s where she met her spouse and her close circle of friends. In her free time, Tracy enjoys trying every imaginable craft and hobby; she has a “closet of shame” of supplies and unfinished projects at home to prove it!

- Her favorite quote is “When you do the right thing, people won’t be sure that you’ve done anything at all” because it reminds her not to seek praise from anyone but herself.
